Jens Lauer

Jens Lauer is the Senior Consultant for Customer Experience at Arineo. He focuses on consulting and helping organizations optimize their commerce environments. With more than 25 years of technical and consulting experience, Jens connects strategic goals with robust technical execution. Based in Germany, he advises clients on navigating enterprise software ecosystems and managing customer journeys.

Before joining Arineo, Jens built an extensive career in technology consulting and solution architecture across major digital agencies. He spent nearly four years at Merkle DACH, serving as Senior Director of Technology Consulting and Solution Architecture. During his tenure at Merkle, he also held key leadership roles as Director of Platform Consulting and Director of SAP CX Solutions. Prior to that, he led enterprise commerce initiatives at Namics (a Merkle company) as the Lead for SAP Solutions and as a Senior Principal Consultant. His deep technical background also includes over seven years at OgilvyOne Worldwide, where he advanced from a Technical Account Manager to a Senior Technical Consultant. This long history of leadership allows him to guide large-scale digital projects seamlessly from concept to deployment.

Jens began his professional path in development and technical execution. He worked for more than six years as a Senior Developer and Technical Consultant at opus 5 interaktive medien gmbh. He also managed digital delivery as a Technical Project Manager at Syzygy. This practical, hands-on experience forms the foundation of his strategic advisory work today.

Jens holds a degree as a Dipl-Ing, Construction Engineer from the Technische Universität Darmstadt. He also completed his education at Grännaskolan and Hohe Landesschule Hanau. As an expert consultant, his core focus areas span across e-commerce, platform consulting, and customer experience strategy. He regularly shares practical insights to help organizations build efficient and reliable digital platforms.
