Magnolia’s REST Proxy enables the configuration of API endpoints that each act as a gateway to a third-party REST API. A proxy endpoint forwards all requests it receives, acting as an agent between the requester and the third-party service.

REST Proxy allows you to:

• Hide the data source and its security credentials from the system, making the API request
• Replace the service behind the proxy without changing the code, making the API request

REST Proxy supports basic HTTP authentication and OAuth 2.0 between the proxy endpoint and third-party API.
